The Quickest Strategies to Gain Muscle Quickly

People want to build muscle fast for a variety of reasons. Many people are interested in improving their health, others their self-esteem, and most people just want to look better overall. The sad story is however, that even though people start out with great dedication on a work out program, most simply throw in the towel because they do not see the results they're after. If you happen to be one of these frustrated weightlifters, don't throw in the towel. Believe it or not, changing your techniques that you utilize even slightly can have a huge impact on the results that you do or do not get. It goes without saying that coaching from an experienced weightlifter who has been through what you've gone through makes a tremendous difference. It's obvious that the entire point is to pack on muscle mass as fast as possible while maintaining or reducing your body fat percentage. How you do this depends on each individual person. But there are key guidelines everyone should follow.

Today, there are two schools of thought when it comes to trying to pack on muscle as quickly as possible. The most commonly accepted way is championed by muscle building magazines you see in the magazine racks, and a radical way to approach the issue is pushed by newer, lesser known body building coaches . The strategy pushed by magazines relies a lot on you purchasing expensive body building equipment and stocking up on loads of supplements. If you're not getting the results you seek based on the timeworn advice given by more traditional body building coaches, it might not hurt to try out some of the newer concepts in the bodybuilding world.

Let's go over some brief examples of some of the tips you would get from some of the radical young coaches today. It's not surprising if you think these ideas are a little bit outlandish, but if you haven't tried them, you don't know what you're missing. You might be quite surprised at the results you get utilizing some of these seemingly strange concepts. One time-tested piece of advice to throw out is that generic formula of 3 sets of ten reps. It's much too generalized for the real world, and usually doesn't give you measurable results. What you want to aim for instead is to achieve the max intensity and highest workload that you can achieve, in the briefest time segment you can.

Keep in mind however, that the most amount of work does not always equate to the highest amount of weight. Intensity does not equate to lifting the highest amount of weight that you can move. Regarding the ten repetitions -- if you're able to lift a weight for ten reps, it is simply too light. On the flipside, doing 3 sets of any exercise is usually two too many. If you're working on at a high enough intensity, you won't be able to do 3 sets. Utilizing the entire range of motion for a given exercise is a complete waste of time. It's no secret that muscles are strongest in only a very limited certain range of motion. Stay in that short range of motion at all times to maximize the weight and intensity in your workouts. Finally, if you have never tried static contraction training at all, you simply don't know what you're missing.

Does this all sound like a farce? If you're getting the results you want, feel free to ignore this article. However, utilizing some of the new radical concepts in bodybuilding may stun you with the huge results they give you. As an added benefit, you probably only need to work out about a fifth of the amount of time you work out now. Envision going to the gym only 1 hour a week instead of ten hours, but getting more results.
