Yes, it might be great to have your own little plunge bath but at the same time it is going to take a lot of effort and running home repairs to keep that pool in usable shape. Plus a house with a pool is going to cost you more than a house without a pool.

Landscaping

Here’s something that has ample opportunity for home improvement. A lot of it can be part of do it yourself projects. If the home already has some landscaping done, you can be assured that the property value is going to be higher for it. If it does not have any landscaping done it would be a great opportunity for you to add value to your home by adding some to it.

Roofing, Flooring and Foundation

While a home garden, pool and landscaping are external features you must also pay attention to the internal features like roofing, flooring and foundation. Here again the foundation is far more important than the roofing and flooring. As the other two may be renovated by the foundation is the very crux of the home. If there is a problem there, then you will have problems cropping up all over the place.

So before you make that final big investment make sure that you take all these factors in to consideration as well.
