Home Treatment for Acne, Cheap and Natural

Over-the-counter and the prescription acne treatments most often contain chemicals that a lot of people do not desire to make use of. As an alternative, these people seek for home treatments for acne. There are many home treatments for acne that in reality do work. Here are some treatments you can try.

1. Apply essential oils, such as Tea Tree Oil, Bergamot Oil, Clove Oil, Lavender Oil, and Rosewood Oil. For sensitive skin, dilute the oil with grape seed oil. Apply the oil before going to bed at night, then clean it away in the morning with a pure soap, such as Ivory, and clean water.

2. Try getting some sunshine every day, if you are not taking any medications that could cause you to be overly sensitive to the sun. The reason is not to tan to conceal the acne. Instead, the sun in fact kills the germs, and dries up the sebum oil that produces acne. This is a common home treatment for acne that doesn't cost anything.

3. Acne begins in the interior of the body, not on the surface of the skin. Drink plenty of water - as a minimum eight glasses per day - to aid detoxify your body and cure acne. Besides consume
plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.

4. For home treatment for acne, apply an oatmeal mask at least once or twice a week. Cook oatmeal, and whilst it is still warm (not scalding hot) apply it to your whole face. Let the oatmeal to dry out, and then wash it away. You can also use dried oatmeal, dampened - but not cooked - with warm water as a facial scrub to exfoliate the skin and clean the pores.

5. Avoid consumption of processed foods, and stick to more natural fruits and vegetables. No foodstuff has ever been scientifically proven as reason for acne; however, if you have a food allergy, the allergic reaction often consequence acne. Many people have food allergy, and go off their entire life without knowing it. Don't suppose that a food allergy will leave you unconscious on the floor - the allergic reaction can appear in many forms, like acne breakouts. You can visit an allergist for a simple blood test to locate if you have any food allergies.

6. Many natural ingredients are available for the safe treatment of acne, which makes your skin free of pimples, scars and cysts. Fresh Fruits like papaya, tomato and lemon are used to overcome skin disorders which give rise to acne. Different herbs such as garlic, mint, cinnamon, nutmeg, fenugreek, turmeric, radish and sesame seeds protects and prevents your skin against acne. These are also useful for getting rid of toxins, alleviating inflammation and fighting against bacteria. Following are some natural remedies for treating acne:
a) Juice of raw papaya is useful for treating swelling pimples.
b) A mixture of fresh lemon juice and boiled milk is used as a face wash for pimples.
c) Mixture of lemon juice and cinnamon powder is also very effective for the skin.
d) Fresh garlic should be rubbed around pimples.
e) A paste of honey and cinnamon powder should be applied on the affected areas.
There are several other home treatments for acne, a number of which work and a few of which do not work. The essential thing is to drink plenty of water, eat fresh fruits and vegetables, get plenty of sleep, clean your face at least twice a day, and take vitamins - particularly vitamin A and vitamin E.
